The Bio

  Clare Cooper

CLARE COOPER is a singer/songwriter/keyboardist from New York City who performs both as a solo artist and band member. She's a graduate of Berklee College of Music, has won songwriting awards including the Songwriter's Guild of America President's Award and the Abe Olman Scholarship, and has performed in songwriter events for BMI, NARAS and the Songwriter's Guild. Clare has been featured on radio programs for Brandeis University, Fairfield University, at the Audio Engineering Society Convention, and on television in "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy" and AMC’s “Into Character.” Northern Drive, her second CD, is the result of a northeasterner immersing herself in country music, then combining it with a lifetime of rock, pop and blues influences. It's a loving tribute to her family and the hometown where it all began.
